So a few different groups of people were doing some homebrew stuff or whatever and discovered a flaw in the hardware that could be exploited to hack the Swtich. Some people are already putting gamecube emulators on their Switches. But that is not why I'm making this thread.

It seems the hardware exploit cannot be fixed after the Switch leaves the factory of origin, in otherwords all Switches currentlly available can be hacked and Nintendo can't do diddly squat about it. Ever. So what does this mean for you feelow Switch onwers here? :shrug: That's up to you on what to do with this info. I'm not gonna post the source on how to do the hacking (you could probably find it easily via google anyway) because ToS stuff (pretty sure that's under there along with emulator linkage so I'm gonna not do that)

They'll most likely just make sure the exploit is gone from all future Switches they ship and that will be it. In all honestly I'm not really one for throwing emulators onto consoles via hacking since I keep my older consoles anyway. This will probably not effect them much, but who knows?

Are there any Gamecube games that are worth playing on the go? I mean for the most part console games are designed to sit and pay full attention for a decent amount of time, and I know you can do that with the switch but I've mostly used mine on the go.

The switch being hacked is cool I guess for Skyrim modding if I ever get Skyrim or get into that, but honestly it just feels like you're asking to be banned from wifi for hacking the console.

Also, apparently people are uploading porn avatars onto their Nintendo accounts via hacking, meaning other people get to see some nice pussy while playing Mario Odyssey with online features enabled. How charming. :P
