I have never used GM for anything, ever, ever. Once in a while I'm asked a GML question, and if the answer is not obvious, I point people to google.

It could still be distributed open, as GML, but if this is a GM engine thing, it means that your user-designed output runs through what...five or six levels of extraneous abstraction?
