Well, I haven't been on here in like...8 years or something outrageous like that. I think the thought of the impending happy birthday email I still get from AGN every year stirred something in me to come check the place out this year.
I've just been lurking around the past few days, looking over old posts and overall putzin' around. Decided the place could use a little fresh activity, since I see a lot of people pushing for more activity in some of the more recently active threads. Seems like the same handful of people are holding it down these days, which is still cool to see.
Crazy to look back and realize what a good chunk of my adolescent and teen years were spent in these forums, now that I am approaching the age of 28. Even though it's not as active as it used to be, it's still awesome to see that the place is still alive.
What, you may ask, is my overall objective with this post? Well, I am not really sure. I guess I am just hoping to give people that jump of excitement seeing a new thread from an uncommon/unfamiliar member, since I bet the feeling isn't too frequent these days.
