View Full Version : Script Created Explosion Sprites: What do they use, and where is the code that calls them?

I've been tinkering with some weapons.cpp stuff, and I looked into wBomb and wBOOM again, after a long time of ignoring them.

At first glance, it seems as if script generated LW_BOMBBLASTs should generate their sprite from the .wpn attribute of their 'parentitem', but if there is no parent item, which is often true, what do they read to generate their sprite? Where is the code for script generated explosions located?

I've been up and down weapons.cpp, and I don't see it.
