Does anyone have a complete list of everyone who worked on ZC and what they did? I've been keeping some notes, between what I personally knew way back when, and what I was able to pick up asking a few people. (information listed in quotation marks is a secondhand quote from who I asked.)

Partly I want to know out of curiousity and a sense of respect, and partly I am also thinking about listing all the ZC developers in the end credits of the quest I am making (which has a scripted scrolling end credits text sequence, NES-style). It would be neat to have a section that says "ZELDA CLASSIC STAFF" and just list everybody; after all, plenty of quests list old "Miyahon" and the like thanks to the Zelda 1 credits.

Below is my incomplete, WIP list. It probably contains errors. Any information about who was involved, what they contributed and when (even if they are no longer staff) is welcome.

--- Definitely Staff / Developers
- Phantom Menace (original creator, 1998-2000)
- DarkNation (updated and expanded ZC solo from 2000 until... 2011? Lead Developer until he passed away)
- Gleeok (Current lead developer)
- DarkDragon (Lead developer for 2.5 maybe? Main creator of ZScript and ZASM?)
- _L_ ("zscript improvements and engine improvements")
- Pkmnfrk ("Engine stuff, Link->Dir , and other things")
- Sean ("some Linux buillds (2010)")
- Jman ("all sorts of engine crud")
- Takuya ("mac osx builds 2006-08/9")
- Saffith ("most of the bugfixes, and engine revamping towards 3.x", and releases recent ZC versions)
- ZoriaRPG ("zscript/zasm improvements now, as well as docs and standard headers")
- Tamamo ("npc objects, and other engine things")
- 4Matsy (Hypercrash) (Default Tileset Contributor)
- Riverman (Default Tileset Contributor)
- KevFan9 (Default Tileset Contributor)
- Old-Skool (Default Tileset Contributor)
- Radien (Default Tileset Contributor)
- Lim20 (Default Tileset Contributor)
- Skateboarder11 (Defaullt Tileset Contributor)

--- Definitely staff, but missing a lot of information
- Joe123 (Helped develop ZScript? Did some documentation I think, but not anymore?)
- wolfman2000 ("some std.zh additions")

--- Not sure if actually staff?
? Grayswandir
? Dimentio
? VEL (Example_BS1st.qst tileset contributor, from when Example_BS1st was included?)

--- Site Staff (information is sketchy/incomplete)
- War Lord (original owner of Zeldaclassic.com and Armageddongames.net)
- Eckels (Developed for ZeldaClassic.com for a while? Creator of "The Portal" viewer for the quest database?)
- Successor (currently runs the Zeldaclassic.com site?)

--- PureZC Site Staff (PureZC seems semi-officially linked with the project nowadays?)
- WildBill (original site owner and manager, until he passed away)

I think I might have made some tiles for new enemies in the BS tileset, (like the new wizzrobes) not sure if it is included with the download or not. It was so long ago.

EDIT: I found a old topic from 2002 about it.
http://armageddongames.net/showthread.php?49822-New-BS-tiles

EDIT: There also used to be a topic about the new enemies, but it seems to be gone, all I find are broken links.

Tile creators didn't occur to me! I'll expand the list. There's actually some credited in the Default tileset in new quests.

As I recall you're pretty much the expert on BS Zelda stuff in ZC : )

I used to be, since then more BS roms have been found including a "2nd" BS Zelda Quest. I've never even played it. Also someone else made a BS Zelda remake in ZC that uses the newer ZC features, and has timed events and other things to make it closer to the original. Also there was an boss in the original BS Zelda that was glitched up and I think they found a rom that it isn't glitched in (I think it's a new boss). Also recorded videos of people in Japan playing the games when they where originally available have been found since then.

Dang. How did I miss that? I don't post that often anymore, but stuff like that usually sticks out. Was there a thread on AGN about it, maybe with some details? Health wise at least I thought he was in pretty good shape.
