View Full Version : [2.50.2] Bizarre, Instant Death

2.50.2, starting a clean game on a solid combo instantly kills Link, but continuing on a solid combo, does not. This affects ffcs with solid combos as data. Not sure about regular screen combos.

Edit: No, I thought that was the cause, but apparently, it isn't. What the flidd is going on with this quest file?
The starting screen was made on map 2, then copy/paste'd to map 1. The ffc were copy/paste'd there too.

I cannot track down a cause for the death. It only happens in a fresh game, and I removed all the scripts. None of them affected Link->HP in any event, and I recompiled with a blank buffer. There are no damage combos, no solidity, and moving the ffc away from Link didn't fix it. This is truly bizarre.

The init data has Link set to start with 0 HP, but continue with full health.

Oh, wow. I don't know how that happened. I set init HP to 24 hearts. Must have been a keyboard issue and I didn't notice.
