I downloaded Zelda Classic 2.50.1. The game moves at light speed. I use the arrow keys briefly touch a direction which moves me all the way into the next room with monsters moving so fast I'm dead in under a second. How do I restore the normal speed of the game? Thanks

In the Zelda Classic Launcher, make sure that the "limit FPS" is set to "Yes" and launch Zelda Classic from there. I wouldn't go directly into Zelda Classic itself, I always go into it through the launcher.

If the game is running faster than normal, try pressing the F1 key to change the speed back to normal.

When I push the F1 the screen starts flashing

2.50.0, 2.50.1, 2.50.2, or 2.50.3?

In ZC, go to the 'Misc' menu, select 'About', and see what the exact version IS is, and what 'Build' it is, and let us know.

In ag.cfg, set doublebuffer to 1. That usually fixes these issues.

Fixed it
Thank you !!!

Also note that ZC generally tends to have problems with Windows 10 in Fullscreen, just cus this problem is fixed does not mean more won't surface, I strongly recommend sticking to windowed mode.
