OK, after I wrap up and put Demo SP into testing, I have decided to go into my next project.
I have remnants of things, including some of Mero's scripts. I have several lovely levels from my 5th Quest Contest that will never hit the light of day.
I also have heard many people wanting a female hero (and Linkie don't cut it).
So EXCUUUUUUUSE ME, PRINCESS, what am I going to do?
Well, I'm going to make a new quest, and final quest in Zelda Classic before I move on. You are Zelda this time. You start with a bow and arrow, and you are going into battle saving Link, who got defeated by Shadow Link and Ganon got revived at the end of Zelda 2 (instead of the ending where Zelda got a kiss and ended the Demise line)
Yes, this quest will heavily borrow from the cartoon. If you don't like it, tough. I don't like the OoT Link stuff. Not even a real fan of the SNES game (though I do like Link's Awakening)
Undecided on the tile set, thinking either modified Revenge 2 or my own take on Classic Tileset with recolored enemies.
Thoughts?
