Controls settings in ZC

Hello everyone,
I've a problem with Zelda Classic: when I launch zelda-w.exe, it automatically resets the control keys to the default keys (so the A button becomes Alt, B becomes Ctrl, etc.); so each time I launch ZC, I have to set the controls again because I just can't play like this :uhoh:. So I'd like to ask ye: is there a way I can save the controls so I don't have to set it each time I launch ZC? Thanks in advance for your answers!

The key settings should be saved in the ag.cfg file. It's possible that zc does not shut down properly and the default values never get written to the file. Not sure why that would happen though.

Thanks for your answer; I noticed that closing the application using the F10 key instead of clicking the red cross on the top-right corner of the window didn't reset the controls. I think you're right, closing ZC using the "Close" icon on the top of the window make it shut down improperly and doesn't let it save the controls. I think I'll use the F10 key to close ZC now. Thanks again for the answer!

I thought this was just something that randomly occurred. I'll need to check how ZC behaves with both close action types. o_O
