Zelda Classic and Windows 10

I had tried to play Zelda Classic 2.50.1 on Windows 10. It did not work at all, even in windowed. I actually can play on Windows 8.1 with those extensions : -res 1280 960 -windowed. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to play Zelda on Windows 10, more specifically the new 2.50.2 version? :read:
It is one of the reasons why I am sticking with Windows 8.1. That and my graphic card that can't handle Direct X 12. TIA.

No idea. Windows 10 is probably too busy sending your personal data to Maryland to work properly. Maybe upgrade your memory to the minimum required to run windows 10, which is probably something like 64 terrabytes. :) :) :)


Kidding aside, did you try compatibility mode or any of those kinds of windows options?

I found your answer quite cute and funny. But since I don't have much choice other than use Windows... :ootp:
I have installled the latest November Windows 10 update. I am please to tell that I can still play Zelda version 2.50.2 and it works fine.

I wouldn't touch Win 10 with a 20 metre cattle prod.

That said, you can run ZC via XP in VMWare/Oracle/whatever. Should eliminate compatibility concerns.
