View Full Version : Glitch with bombable walls?

Maybe I'm just not doing something correctly, but some doors I create in the editor (using the door command mind you) act kinda dumb. Sometimes Link walks over the tiles rather than under them. I didn't modify the combos at all, just using the stock Door command to create doors in my dungeon. This particularly happens with bombable walls. Any ideas what could be causing it?

Change the combos you want to appear over head to overhead combos.
ZC is dumb and doesn't know.

Could have to do with the DMap type.

Link only walks under doors (and even then, only under combos on the edge of the screen) when the DMap is a dungeon. Interiors, overworlds, or any other DMap type won't work (I think that's all of them, actually; been a while since I checked).


Tamamo's solution is viable; if you make your door combos 'overhead' then they will be drawn inbetween Layers 3 and 4. Tooltip says this happens regardless of the layer you place them on, but I think it only applies for layers 0, 1, and 2.
