I believe it was a kickstarter that raised like 700,000 dollars. ..Money well spent.

They were showing it on cable this week, on one of those retro 80's channels that's half infomercials. I only managed to catch like 30 seconds of it at the end where it was like commentary and behind the scenes stuff.

..I suppose one day after it was released is slow in internet time... :x

I sat down and watched this the other night. I didn't think I'd care, but man, it was freaking awesome. I loved every second of it. Kotaku said it was "trying too hard". I was thinking that it was actually effortlessly being the best thing ever.

Kotaku is a bunch of fucking hipster shit suckers. It wasn't trying too hard because there is no such thing as trying too hard. You should always try as hard as fucking possible, all the time. People who don't try hard are sticky shit residue in the cracks of Kung Fury's shoes.
