I AM A MUSICIAN, GOD DAMN IT. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HwtTSkS21Y&t=1m59s)

My favorite genres are techno, classic rock, classic metal, video game theme songs, and blues.

My favorite bands are Van Halen and Magnus Von Black, which I am the lead EVERYTHING of. Most of the techno I listen to is very random so I don't have a favorite artists, but in general I like Daft Punk, Tiesto, ATB, and I don't know what else. I like old Nightwish, Hammerfall, Dragon Force, and other fantasy metal bands.

I hate Coldplay more than anything.

Rock...almost all genres, covering almost all eras. Mostly the older stuff though... Layne's AIC, NIN, (pre Black) Metallica, (pre youthanasia) Megadeth, Static X, Tool, Mad Season, Sound Garden, Temple of the Dog, Mother Love Bone, Lynard Skynard, Beattles ect.... All in all I have favorites in all types and genres of music. Everything except jazz.... I can't fucking stand jazz.

I have bizarre tastes in music. Whenever I get a music CD, as entirely rare as that is, I'll enjoy maybe 15% of the songs and completely skip over and ignore the rest. But that's still a certain amount of <that band> that I like above and beyond the thousands and thousands of bands that I haven't listened to at all. So in theory, that makes me a fan of <that band>. Even though I'm not actually a "fan" of them - I just happen to like some songs that they produced.

It's why I have a folder filled with 350+ songs that are almost completely unrelated to one another, and I have spent weeks cycling between whatever happens to have been recent at the time, using them all up and getting used to them, then moving on to some other group.
