In this test quest, I did a little experimenting with tile and side warps. I set both of them to use the scrolling warp animation. In this case, when Link steps on a warp type combo (whether it be stairs, cave, etc.), the screen scrolls in whichever direction Link is facing when he warps to his destination. But be careful; depending on how the destination screen is set up, it can be very easy for Link to get stuck in the wall, forcing you to quit or reset.
