Can we use screens 80-87 as the continue screen?

I would rather not create a separate map just for my title screen.

Sorry, but you can't set screens 80-87 as Link's starting position, plus screen 80 is reserved for caves and item cellars, and screen 81 is reserved for 3-stair warps and passageways, but you can use screens 82-87 for layering, if you don't want use a separate map for that. So you could try putting parts of the title screen on one of those screens and use it as a layer for the screen you want to use as the title screen. By the way, layer can be applied to screens 80 and 81.
