I was bored today so I decided that I was going to take and do someone with a old white 360 arcade (Japser with 256MB internal) so I painted the faceplate the other day to see how hard it is to paint one and I messed it up and it looked like crap.

So I got looking around today to see if I could fix it, and all I could find was my trusty 'Suretape Foil tape'.
-=SPOILER=-

And I tapped the face plate up and it turned out alright... I mean it looked better then it did?
Anyways with the console still being white I said what the hell and I went ahead and the the same with the case.

The faceplate and case is shown in the image above.

Here is the sides of the console
The side with the rubber feet-

and the side without the rubber feet-

I think it looks pretty nifty, though I wonder if this might cause an issue... well I didn't tape the back or anything where I wouldn't mess with the airflow.

Just figured I would post this for the fun of it and see what people thought of it

Nifty! I myself have never had the urge to decorate a console, though I did decorate my old tower computer a long time ago.

Yeah I've never really decorated a console or anything before... I just figured since I had so many of these 360s sitting around might as well and see if I make one look neat.

Anyways, I might be getting another faceplate to try to get no creases on the thing with the tape. And also picking up a old controller to see if I can do the same thing with for shits and giggles :P

I decided today that I should take a look and see what I could do about air flow on a old Halo 3 edition console.

So I cut a hole in the case above the CPU and added a like a 180mm Fan to the syetem which I ripped out of a computer PSU a long time ago, I converted it to USB Power. and Bolted it on the side.

It sucks air in from the side fan and the back fans blow it out so it should make it run a bit cooler.
Also the fan has Blue LED lighting so it should look spiffy in the dark :p

You mess with stuff for gits and shiggles? I'd do the same if I had a few extra consoles laying around really...
I don't like to mod something in case the worst possible scenario happens. I'm paranoid that way. Best I'm willing to do is a sticker/decal (ie: LoZ Triforce on back of 3DS)

I just started getting into messing around with customizing stuff like consoles, I'm really starting to have fun and enjoying it quite a bit. I know in the past I was afraid to do anything to any console mainly because I was scared that I would mess up.
But I've stopped being afraid of this little stuff and just went for it.

Like I did some more crap to my halo 3 system, I cut out the honeycomb metal that's in-front of the rear fans and done some stuff inside the console to help with keeping it cool.
And also added 4 more USB ports to the console using an old rockband USB hub, and added a grill to the fan.

You can see it here.

I'm starting really enjoy myself to much with this console case modding :P

I've added a window to the system (the window is a frosted diamond design) and I added some more Blue Leds behind the windows, and added a toggle switch to turn the internal lights on and off :P
