Taking a look at the ZQuest.txt file, some of the information is outdated. For example, some of the features included in previous builds are no longer included in the current version, such as the Weapon Animation Fix Rule, which was never implemented, and the ability to flip screens and maps horizontally and vertically, although to be blunt, I don't think the ability to flip screens and maps should have ever been removed in the first place, because other than having to rearrange a few combos, I saw absolutely nothing wrong with those features whatsoever, and I kind of miss them too. Fortunately, I still have beta 18, which still has those features. However, there are some features in the current version that are not in some of the previous versions, such as newer quest rules like Log Script Errors to Allegro.log and Draining Rupees Can Still Be Spent, and the Compatibility rules.

I think it those were removed more than just because they were buggy. I think there was some other issues. I dunno. Ask Saffith.

Well, here's what was mentioned in the change log when these features were removed for 2.50RC5:

Removed the map and screen flipping functions, as they were extremely buggy and not that useful.

But personally, I didn't think these features were even the least bit buggy to begin with. I think that the only problem is that other people activated these features by total accident, and complained about it ruining their quests.

It ruined their quests because it changed warp destinations throughout the entire quest, and undoing it didn't revert them. That's absolutely a bug and a huge hassle to deal with. I didn't see any reasonable way to fix it.
But I suppose I could add them back in and make them not try to correct warp destinations. As long as it's not a "click here to screw up your quest" it should be okay.
