Take a look at these images: http://1drv.ms/1dEPfHI
The screens look fine in the editor, but when I enter the caves in ZC, the top row of tiles appears strangely. This seems to happen most when you enter the cave using a Stair warp. Using a cave warp appears to be fine in most cases. Any ideas?
Using ZC 2.5 Build 25 on Windows 8.1 and Windows XP SP3.

You might want to upgrade to the latest version, which is 2.50.1 RC2, because older builds, such as the one you're using, can be a bit buggy. Also, would you mind posting a link to your quest file?

For Win8 you may have to use 2.5 RC2 though being an RC you may run into bugs. Windows 8 does not play nice with ZC. Does the issue happen in WinXP as well? 2.5 should work just fine in XP.

I'll try that.
Also, I'm reluctant to post a link to the quest file because, well, to borrow a phrase, "It's a secret to everybody." I suppose I could PM it.
The issue occurs on both XP and 8.1. Most of my quest work is done on a WinXP notebook, and I keep a backup copy on my Win8.1 Desktop. This issue happens on both.
Edit: The issue also occurs on ZC 2.50.1 RC2. I'll try to duplicate the error in a test quest I use.
Edit 2:
Nevermind, I figured it out. I noticed that the strange tiles only appear when I enter the cave after triggering a screen secret. I didn't know that secrets carried over into caves. Anyhow, this made me curious about flags. turns out there were a few stray flags on layer 1 of the cave screen. Quite frankly I have no idea how they got there, but now I feel like a newb... :newbie:
anyway thanks for the help...
