Before having to undergo the rigors of password recovery protocol:

Have you tried hypnotherapy? If the memory pills didn't work it could be that your subconscious has blocked those painful memories, sort of like a defense mechanism, and you may be able to remember everything that was suppressed, including passwords -- which may turn out to be something like "isdaddyhurtingmommy.qst".

Well if you can't figure out the password, then you should probably look and see if you have any unpassworded backups. Either way, I don't know if it's possible to retrieve a password from a 2.50 quest.
