Hello Everyone.
Used Gamecube games are pretty tough to find in my city. But I'm not sure this one warrants a high price like this! Do you think it's worth it?

That is extremely unreasonable. On Amazon they start from about $35 used. If you want to pay more though I will sell you my copy for $95.

I'm not referring to the quality of the game which is unquestionable. More so, I'm referring to the hd remake or piracy.

At a few conventions I've been to - some being strictly for video games - Wind Waker and Twilight Princess have been selling for really high prices. I remember striking up a conversation with one vendor ending with him willing to give me $70 for my GCN Twilight Princess. Nope, sorry, I know they're limited print or whatever but I'm not interested in selling.
To answer the original question though; you'd be a fool to buy it at that price. Especially considering the stock photo of the game used.
I see a shit ton of used ones in great condition on Amazon. I've never had any issue going through them buying from vendors either.
You have to be careful with used games because--even if they guarantee it will work--there is no guarantee it will work. Still, I was able to acquire a copy of Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door for $60 (new, actually), and that one's out of print too. Granted, Wind Waker is getting particularly collectible because they're re-releasing it and people want to compare, but if you wait and you shop around you should be able to snag a copy for less than three digits in your wallet.

That price is insane. Don't buy it. If you've got a Wii U, get the HD remake. If you're okay with piracy, Wind Waker runs amazingly on Dolphin. If you really want a physical copy of the gamecube disk, wait a bit and shop around, and you should be able to find one much cheaper soon.
