Glenn the Great's Unofficial 4th Quest Help - Level Nine

Hello,

I'm playing this old but challenging question, and I'm almost done, but I cannot find the second entrance to level nine. I've found the entrance that leads to the magic key, which I've gotten, but I cannot find the second entrance that contains the silver arrows and Gannon. I've searched this forum, and one post alluded to a second entrance to this level but the poster did not know the location of the second entrance.

I've spent a lot time getting to where I'm at, and I'd really like to be able to finish. :) Any help would greatly be appreciated.

I didn't know you made a 4th quest, Glenn. I am guessing it was for the contest. I'll have to check it out after I get around to playing 1st, 2nd , and (for the first time ever) 3rd quest again.

Yeah, it was the only full-size quest I ever made. I spent my free time in High School classes drawing out dungeons on graph paper, coming home and spending hours putting it all into ZQuest and playtesting it.
It was intense. It really gave me an appreciation for the amazing quests this community delivers, and just for game development in general. I'm surprised (but happy) that people are still playing this thing more than 12 years after the fact.

Who made the third quest (the one you're referring to)? I may play that after I finish Glenn's. :)

That was AlphaDawg. He won the contest, and his quest is actually packaged with ZC as 3rd.qst

AlphaDawg also made an Unofficial 3rd Quest prior to creating the Official 3rd Quest which was entered into the contest.

There is also an official 4th quest packaged with ZC. I'm assuming there was a contest held for that one too, but that would have probably been during my hiatus.
