Hey! I'm back from Las Vegas. I was there all week.

...Not that I announced it or anything. Come to think of it, does anybody notice the silent member when he departs? Mysterious!

Anyway, the Vegas Strip was pretty cool, even if I couldn't get hammered (that seems to be the main activity). I was a little disappointed that the restaurants all close kitchen at, like, 10 PM, though I guess it's because they want you to get drunk and go gamble, and a lack of food options helps the former.

There were also a shortage of chairs, there. I think it was a slot machine plot!

Has anybody else ever been to Vegas?

I got to go once primarily for a conference. I stayed for a few extra days afterwards to check out more of the strip. It was a lot of fun though I didn't win anything... should have stuck with blackjack. I saw Zumanity which was at New York New York and it was fantastic. The night life is pretty crazy there. I was up at 6am the last day of the conference and I didn't get back to bed until 6:30am the next day.

The only thing I didn't do was check out the old strip down on Fremont. That is something I want to do so someday I want to go back.

Right now there are only two reasons why I would ever happen to find myself in Los Vegas:

Waterfountains. The Casinos that decorate their entrances with fantastic whimsical waterworks. Beautiful.
Fallout: New Vegas. I love comparing places, fictional or otherwise.

How many hookers did you bang?

If it was less than 3, you didn't enjoy Vegas to it's fullest.

Been there twice. Once for my b-day when I was 7 or 8 to spend it with my grandma on my mom's side and a second time for my aunt's wedding in middle school.

On a side note, did you see Excalibur? I love that place, its so awesome. And then there's the night stuff with the fountains and so much stuff.

I should go there again some time.
