Yellow is the third primary colour - but in Hyrule I guess green is haha. :P

Primaries are red, blue and green. Those three together make white light. Yellow is a secondary color, along with magenta and cyan. Unless you're talking about pigments, but those don't really apply here.

EDIT: That's why your computer uses red green and blue when selecting colors in paint, photoshop or zquest, but your printer uses magenta, yellow and cyan ink for the same purpose.
