It's honestly kinda feels weird posting here again to be honest, but after talking a little to SUCCESSOR in irc, I decided to log in and saw that I registered well over 9 years ago now. I used to call this place my home way back when, still learning how to do things on the internet no less. For those that might remember, I had a few run-ins with Glenn the Great and it got me banned here a few times at least. Fun times! After a while I drifted over to PureZC, got into the chan scene really heavy and then irl really took over hard these past few years. It's nice to see that things are still around, and after lurking about in irc for the past few months I thought I'd say hey, see how everyone is doing, and who might still be around.

Now where would be a good time to out myself and say that I'm transgender and am currently transitioning, cuz it's something that's affected me pretty greatly with my life and I'm sure someone wants to ask questions. Oh wait...

Anyways, I'll go back to doing my own thing and blissfully F5 this page like I did with other threads back in 2004 for a torrent of replies!

Welcome back! You should stick around and post at least every now and then.

I honestly got burned out on forums that had a user-registration based system several years back, it's also kinda why I haven't really posted that much between here or even Pure since...09ish? Just maybe I can get back into it again :o

Well we're not as refresh-happy as we used to be, but we're limping along. Trying to keep things alive in an internet scene that's chomping at everybody's attention span.

Looks like you were pretty active back in the day, though. We're glad to have you back, even if it's just every once in awhile.

Agreed, it's good to see more familiar faces from long ago. Before long this place might actually have more than the 15 or so people who post anymore! Hot damn.

It's strange... I kinda quit visiting because it seemed the forum was dying, but just recently, I logged on again and saw a bunch of old members making posts again. Granted, not with much frequency mind you, but I was intrigued enough to hang out again for a while. Good to see another person back from the old days, though.

I used to be like "Blah AGN is dying, people don't post often" but honestly, we all obviously keep coming back to this place - even just talking about stuff once a week is good enough. It will never be as it was in its heyday, which is fine - that was before social media really became the default method of internet communication.

So welcome back, sonny boy (girl) (not sure when way you're transitioning to)

It's nice to see familiar faces responding. Feels like what's old is new again with some thing.

AGN is always dying. :p
And to clarify with that little bit, I identify as female, so I'm going that route. I kinda miss Jennifer and VEL in all honesty

Hello and welcome back! Its always good to see old faces these days.

If you're still in touch with anyone else who used to be active, please encourage them to stop by even if it's just to say hello and let us know they're still alive :)

Hello again! It's always nice to see you here and there, wherever it happens to be. :)

1) You'll be amused to know that over the past few years, between here and PZC, (mostly the latter) a large number of people have "outed themselves," and it's beginning to feel like something more like a conversation piece than a dramatic moment in a person's life. Definitely not a bad thing, though that depends on what a person would like to see come out of it.
2) Never quite got tired of the forum scene; it's not that it's a gigantic rush or something, but there are just certain procedures that are necessary to interact with people, and if that's what a forum software requires, so be it. It's maybe a minute of clicking and checking E-mail, then you're in, in a consistent environment. 'chan threads tend to be far less permanent, I find. It's like we become a fleeting memory. Is that what life has suddenly become? :|
3) So what else is new in life?

You know I used to sometimes poke fun at PureZC on the basis of my assumption that it had a lot of secretly gay members, so I'll admit it's fun when you find out how literally correct one can be about certain assumptions.

Oh naturally, ... that can absolutely be true, though it obviously doesn't hold true specifically and only to PureZC. The very same phenomenon can be said about anywhere. In fact in just this very thread alone I could make a statement about an expectation of dicks to be prevalent. I very well might have been correct about it, too. :p Haha. But I digress. It's really just a simple coincidence; one that is becoming more and more common through out the internet, I suppose.

In other words, people are more and more free to be who they really are; or at least, who they believe themselves to be. That's fine too.
