I may be getting a Galaxy Nexus soon because I am a contract whore and it's the sexiest thing I can get for the price of free! I've owned a EVO 4G for nearly 2 years now which is almost a 3 year old device(technically it is nearly identical to the HD2 which would make it a ~4 year old device). I have been happy with it(custom ROMs have helped a lot) but I am ready to move on. The Galaxy Nexus is a flagship device so it should be supported atleast another year officially and atleast another 2 unofficially after that.

Even though Tablets have never tickled my fancy Phablet(yeah I said it) do. I want the Note II but I don't have 300 bucks to drop on that sexy 5.5 inch screen. I was hoping there would be a Sprint variant of the Droid DNA but I don't want to wait for that day and I wouldn't be able to afford it. I don't need a quadcore phone anyway. I can't believe Samsung is about to release an 8 core phone.

I've never used MTP before. Anyone know about this? Windows XP is supposed to support it out of the box but I can't seem to find any evidence that it does.

Heh, Phablet.

I've fallen off my board on the ride of the technology wave, so I have no idea what any of that means. I can't stand smart phones, though I do like tablets (my ASUS EP121 is a godsend for artistic endeavors). I have recently acquired a Polaroid 'Internet Tablet' which is essentially a smart phone without the phone, but I really don't know anything about it.

So I don't really have much to contribute to the conversation. I just couldn't leave you hanging with no replies.

Fuck MTP! I don't have time for Googles shitty MTP or Samsungs shitty drivers, or Windows XP's general shittiness.

adb just did all I need in a fraction of the time it took to attempt to get MTP working. Console still fucking rules. Can I get a witness?!

I have a Galaxy Nexus and I <3 it. Running pretty much a vanilla JB ROM right now but I'm thinking about switching to CM10 at some point (just haven't been in the mood to wipe it since it runs so well already).

My Android tried to garbage collect itself when I told it that it is powered by Java.

I am loving it too. I finally got MTP to work. I had to update Windows Media Player, which I don't even use. I am running a 4.1 AOKP ROM at the moment because Android 4.2 broke Wiimote support. I also tried Paranoid Android(which I loved but it fucked up my data connection) and the Ubuntu Touch demo which was awesome.
