Has anyone picked this up? And if so, how good is it? I actually haven't bought it because of its disastrous launch, and quite frankly, I don't want to support always-online DRM. But beyond all that, I've heard its a good game.

Sadly, the disadvantages that it has prevents me from getting it over SimCity 4 Deluxe, which I already have. It's really all I need.

It says each Sim is its own individual. Somehow I don't think so (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WH-CdkSqDSs).

I picked it up for 5 dollars the other day. I got my city up to Metropolis level, but I can't seem to get it past that. Mr. Wright keeps bugging me about pollution and crime. I JUST WANT THAT MARIO STATUE!!

Oh. The NEW Sim City? Yeah, I'll pass.

I was actually reading about this yesterday. And to make it worse, your "population" isn't even the actual number of sims in your city. So if your city has, say, 100,000 sims, the game is only actually simulating about 20,000 of them.

I guess sticking with SimCity 4 was the best choice after all.
