I just got home from a hapkido lesson. fucking beat. I am a decent boxer but I suck at grappling. I had a lot of fun though.

Reminds me of the Tai chi my dad used to teach me. I never was that good and it was unofficial/unorthadox/whatever, but at its nice for staying healthy. Plus I took some Tae Kwon Do in Middle School to compliment it so yay for me I guess. Thought of picking up another style eventually. Maybe Piguaquan or even Jeet Kune Do (my youngest brother took that up himself for while, so that got me interested).

I keep considering something to take, primarily for health and related factors, as there are times where I feel like parts of my body go to waste on a regular basis.

I got to meet the Green Power Ranger over the weekend, and he's just further bolstered my interest. Nice guy.

He can't feel his arms at that point of the convention. ... ... nah he's actually a pretty awesome guy, I hear. I had the chance to meet him last year but eh. Then what.

I took about eighteen years of Shotokan karate. We never really fought anyone, and mostly practices katas and stances, and meditated, and eventually broke patio blocks.

that's not too bad. Sounds pretty good actually. Fitness and mental effects are the main reason for my interest. I'd also like to possibly learn the theatrical side of it on the side.
