The Paper Mario Series (AKA, there's a reason Thousand Year Door is so expensive!)

I've been playing the Paper Mario series recently. I downloaded the N64 one for Virtual council, and I got the Wii game Super Paper Mario for free with the purchase of two other games.

The former was fantastic, to the point where I was losing sleep. The latter... meh. So I set out to find the intermediate step. Unfortunately, as an out-of-print Gamecube game, I needed to turn to eBay to find it. ...Wow, am I glad I found a copy.


Paper Mario, the Thousand Year Door is so damned addictive I'm twitching now because I'm not playing it. If you haven't played it before... well, maybe don't get it until you try the N64 one on the Virtual Console, but it is DEFINITELY worth the cash.

Fantastic game. I got near the end and never completed it. Haven't played the original. I own Super, but haven't played it either. I plan on playing through all three soon. I'm FINALLY getting to the point where I feel like I have the free time for games.

I am going to run Dios Mios(well I am) but I need to reformat. Problem is I don't have and where to back up my 100 wii games. Also it suck that dios mios screws up retail discs.

I've played and own the first two games. Beat the first 100%, almost at the end of the 2nd game. I've played the 3rd just to get a feel for it. I'd like to own it, but its not high on my games to get list. And then there's Sticker Star.............................................. ....................................

Ya I'm not going anywhere with this since I've barely played it anyway.

Didn't screw up my retail discs?

Just buy an external hard drive from walmart, use it, format it, and then return it saying it's defective or you don't need it.

All my retail gc games freeze up now. I could try reinstalling. And good idea about the HDD. When I was a teen I used to get digital cameras from walmart and use them a shitload till the 30day return period was nearly up. 90% of my pictures from when I was 18 &19 only exist be ause of this.

Install the new version. It even works with multi-discs.

Absolutely brilliant game. I'm currently playing it. As Gamecube games are pretty hard to find in my city I had to buy it online. It cost me a little north of $35. An excellent price for a game so awesome.:cool:
