default items

what are all the default items and what are they suppose to do? ex. i have some rings other then the blue red and gold such as whimsical ring and others i'm not sure what they do if anything. does a list of all the default items and what they do exist? if not could someone put one together for me. i can't decide what to put in my quest if i don't know what they do. thanks in advance.

But keep in mind that some item classes have no editable misc attributes.
