Help. Zelda CLassic v192b183 is not working

Hi. I decided to play a zelda clasic game and it doesnt work for v 2.5 so i had to download v192 beta 183. But when i try to load up zelda classic it flashes 3-4 times then says it stoped working. I am useing a windows 7 computer. Any help would be apreciated. thank you

Yeah, that's just about impossible to get working on Windows 7. Sometimes you get lucky running it in XP compatibility mode, but most of the time it's a no-go.
You might try 2.10 here (http://www.shardstorm.com/zcmirror/zc2102w.zip).

What quest did you download? I find virtually all quests work in 2.5, some can be a bit buggy but most are fine. It's unlikely you'll get 192 or 210 to work, but trying that latter can't hurt...

The Quest i tried to play was Isle of the Winds. it played fine for the most part but certain things that should be there were not. like the way to get the key to the first dungeon. this quest is also complete and has a high rateing.

Well you're probably out of luck if you want to use an older build. I haven't got any of them to work on my Win7 laptop. How was the way to get the key changed? Usually the issues I see with old quests being played in 2.5 are wrong warps and possibly screwed up Csets, but usually not worse than that.
