I recently downloaded the 2D Ocarina of Time Remake from this site. Can anyone help me figure out how to play it? What emulator do I use?

Thanks...

You mean you downloaded a quest file? If that's the case, just open it up with Zelda Classic. Enter your name and smack that Alt key, then find the file and load it up.

Or you could have linked to our own instructions (http://www.zeldaclassic.com/faq.php?q=4).

Zelda Classic is not a ROM hack, so it does not require an emulator. It does, however, require itself to run .qst files.

You can download the latest version of Zelda Classic for your operating system here, on Zelda Classic dot Com (http://www.zeldaclassic.com/downloads.php). Unzip it where you please, and place a shortcut to the ZLauncher (The yellow icon with the key in it) somewhere you can find it. ZLauncher will bring up a menu of load options, adjust them until ZC (the button at the bottom left) opens a window that works for you.

Type any name in the continue screen, and it will load a classic "Link" icon. While next to that icon, press the button assigned to "A" (It's Left ALTernate by default) and a sub-menu with options will open. Press "A" again to bring up a load window, navigate to the custom quest, and select it. The file is now associated with that quest, and will be 'locked in' the first time you play it.

If you hit the escape key while in ZC, it will bring up a file-bar where you can adjust options in the program, and even set up key bindings that suit your preferences. If you have more questions about the program, please ask.

EDIT: Successor posted a link. I could not see that in the side feed. Whoops.
Well... at least I... HEY, LOOK AT THAT!
