So War for the Overworld looks like what Dungeon Keeper 3 would have been had it ever been made. They're just looking for an excuse to make one. I'll be damned if I don't follow them to the ends of the world and beyond, because I friggin loved the series.
The best thing is, this one will have an extremely potent editor, which they are building the game in, just like how Neverwinter Nights was built in the editor that the public had access to. Always a wonderful thing. (Actually, I think Dungeon Keeper 2 had the same scenario surrounding it, though far fewer ever knew about its editor, as it wasn't included with the game. Oh and it was buggy. :p )
I've backed them for basic beta access. I really want to throw more money at them, to be honest. This definitely feels like an occasion justifying this particular meme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QfSzgV1q5g).
Plus, if you give them enough money, they'll let you design a trap, or be a bad buy. Or a good guy. Heheh.
