Zelda Classic now has a Facebook page. If you're an active user of Facebook, check out the page and like it. Post links to your quests, screenshots, or any other ZC related material you want to share.

I've added screenshots to help promote the project. @mrz84 (http://armageddongames.net/member.php?u=38704), @Pineconn (http://armageddongames.net/member.php?u=41007), and @DarkFlameWolf (http://armageddongames.net/member.php?u=38927), I've used screens from your quests. If you don't want these posted, let me know.

Yup, that would be Mr. Z, not mrz84.

I didn't remember I had an actual screeny for my quest.

Looking at it though, that's different than my quest. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only Mr.Z on this board anyways.

Do either of those have admin to regularly post new content? I was thinking of posting tutorials and maybe a featured quest of the week or something along those lines.

No clue. I was just being a troll. Having one run by us is an obvious need. Thanks.

Should change the description to something like:

"Zelda Classic is a fan created software for building your own Legend of Zelda game. Originally designed to recreate the original Legend of Zelda the software has evolved above and beyond that into a powerful and flexible game creator that incorporates many features from more modern Zelda games."

ctrl-alt-delete, don't forget the crappy game that has been mooching off of and tainting Zelda Classic's good name.

Apparently I've forgotten, because I have no idea what you're talking about.

@SUCCESSOR (http://armageddongames.net/member.php?u=38528) : I'll change it as soon as I get home. Remind me in chat if I haven't done it next time I'm in there.

I did a search for Zelda Classic on Facebook before I created the page. I saw the one that you're talking about. I liked it just to see what it was, and it just ended up spamming a bunch of random Facebook friends that I don't talk to on a regular basis. I wasn't even able to get through to the game.

I'm not a regular on FB, but I liked in anyway. I posted a link to my favourite quest, but nothing else so far. It looks a bit messy though, especially with FB's thrown together, mashed onto each other timeline layout. If everybody makes separate posts to link to all their quests, invidual ones might get to be difficult to find in the big mess. I have a link that contains all of mine, but I know most others don't.

Is there a way to pin something or can you create a "document" on a page like you can a group in facebook? It may be easier to use one of those features if available to organize things when people are posting links to quests so they don't get lost in the shuffle.

In general though I am sure there will be a few creative ways we can use the page to get more exposure to ZC more than just individual quests. That doesn't mean those quests shouldn't be advertised but maybe the page can help generate more traffic here. ZC.com does a decent job showing off the quests and will be even better once there have been some more updates and we have a chance to fix a few more things in the database.
