Z-Type (http://www.phoboslab.org/ztype/).

What a bizarre little game. You type the words that are displayed to shoot at the targets matching up with them. It's rather interesting, but I like it. You can quickly amaze yourself by how fast you can type, but then you start on a word that you didn't intend to, and keep typing, but your letters don't match, so you end up failing far too fast. It's tons of fun.

Very fun. Wish it was flash so I could put it in the arcade.

I wish there was a way to have this in the arcade... this game is really fun :).

My typing is kinda rusty... But I did get 21 words a minute... (Which is not a good score, I just woke up so My hands were not ready >_<)

I got up to 54 before one of the words I was typing turned out to have been a lot higher than the word I was looking at. It's a trap I say.

When you say that do you mean you got to the 54th wave?

3406 Points. 51.3 WPM with 90.5% Accuracy. Could be better, I guess.

4617 points, 49.5 wpm (roughly equal to my typing speed IRL), 96.3% accuracy. Tip ---- get rid of the bigger words as soon as you can. You don't want to deal with multiple waves of the one-letter ships at the same time, and if it gets to multiple waves of medium-length words at the same time, forget about it.

My biggest problem was accidentally starting a long word, and then having to scramble to fend off incoming medium-length ships. A nice twist on a familiar theme.

3365 score, 94.6% accuracy, 52.5 GWPM.

I was fine until they started spewing random letters at me. I wasn't trained to recognize individual letters in typing. I type by word.

I got to ~level 25 and paused it to go do something and my browser crashed when I was away. Pretty fun. Sure highlights all my bad typing habits.

I opened it up after I saw the link and played through level 30 and closed out because I did not want to continue. I saw that it had scores after reviewing some of the posts so I decided that I had to play through again.

What kept getting me is that I would end up typing a word, and then of the six letters I typed two or three of them would get applied to another word and I would be thrown off from what I intended on typing; this would usually follow with re-typing the same word.

I definitely knew that I would not get a high accuracy, because I commonly will use my backspace key or shift+home to delete a line. Though I usually can type whatever it is that I typed pretty quickly after correcting it. I used to have a higher WPM, but I guess IntelliSense has just made me lazy.

Last Level: 35
Final Score: 4623
Accuracy: 91.5%
Words Per Minute: 70.1
