Well, if anything, I'm happy that it's more to the style of Doom II than Doom III. Run 'n gun is what Doom was all about.

I liked Doom I & II, But I didn't like Doom 3 to much :|. But with some hope that Doom 4 will be decent.

Only really played Doom 1 and even then not a lot. Its fun and all, but there's other games I like more.
I still play it every now and then, but just not that often. I haven't played any of the games after it yet.

I didn't.

I love Doom 2 though. It has the best gameplay and balance of any FPS I've ever played. Also, if you haven't checked out the modern Doom 2 source ports (http://www.doomworld.com/classicdoom/ports/index.php?platform=2) and the best of the user-created mods (http://www.doomworld.com/cacowards/), you're in for a real treat.

I also enjoyed Doom 3. In fact, I enjoyed all the games in the series. I look forward to Doom 4. Thanks for sharing bardge. It would be great if it became available on Steam when it comes out. Doom goes back to my high school years. Enjoyed many hours of high quality waste of time.
