Ok, managed to tough through the 3rd quest. 4th quest not too difficult. But level 9 decides to say otherwise. Is there any way to get the magic key without needing to buy a key? After that, no clue where to find the red ring or even proceed for that matter. Got to the patra, but don't know where to go from there.

Any ideas on where to go here?

Thanks.

Ok, found 1 broken wall. Slowly taking that to the end. Is there a dungeon map in level 9 even?

Huh, they added another built-in quest for the 2.50 release (http://www.shardstorm.com/ZCwiki/Fourth_Quest)... I knew nothing about this.

I haven't downloaded 2.50 yet (I'm waiting until the release candidates are absolutely approved before I acquire another version of ZC), so you're going to be on your own for this one. Good luck!

I didn't know about this either. I wonder if this was a contest like with the third quest.

I did.
They talked about it extensively in the beginning of 2.5 development. I think that's how Neo First came about.

It's actually a bit easier than the 3rd quest. Just bigger maps in general. For example, level 3 in the 4th quest is about the same size map as level 9 in the 3rd quest.

Level 6 is a pain in the butt, butt it's a great overall design. Level 3 was way too large, a bit boring after some time. The other levels were normal, overall too easy though for a fourth quest that was supposed to be harder than the third, which it clearly wasn't. Level 6 and Level 9 were the hardest levels of the entire quest. At the end of Level 4 you have enuff hearts to get the magical sword, after that it's a cake.

Yup, the quest is easier than third quest, but remember, you don't necessarily complete the third quest after the fourth, due to the fact that the path branches. Only if you've been avid in your exploring in the second quest will you be able to access fourth quest. Otherwise, you'll continue on to the third and the game will end afterwards like normal.

Hey, if you're looking for more difficulty, you could always try a three-heart run. :P

Three-heart and swordless run, lol. :) That would be fun.
