The game has been out for a while, but I don't see anyone talking about it, so here we are.

Old-school dungeon romp game. Grid-based. Barely even turn-based.

I do love a good dungeon romp. I wish it weren't locked to a grid, a'la Ultima Underworld, (I am completely in love with that game.) but this is good too. Plus, the editor is pretty powerful and easy to use. It's nice to make a few quests with it now and then.

I saw it when I did a search for "dungeon crawler" games a while ago, but I have not tried it yet. It did look interesting. Watching the video, it seems very much like an Eye of the Beholder or Dungeon Master with better graphics. Understandably, since those are the games it's inspired by. I loved those games back in the day, so I'll probably like this one too.
That editor is pretty slick. I remember in the old days of Bard's Tale Construction Set and Unlimited Adventures, you had to place each wall. The dungeon carving aspect of this one looks cool. I will definitely have to give it a try, eventually.

Yeah, it's pretty darn easy to do, though LUA scripting has its moments with frustration, it seems. Then again, I'm no scripter.

The second video is a tad outdated, by the way. It's become slightly more intuitive in terms of what you're placing and where, with dungeon doodads. They have visual icons now.

Dungeon editor release date is tomorrow. I am planning on downloading both after work, though I have concerns about it's graphics requirements.

Yep, almost there (http://www.grimrock.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3472). Been playing with the editor on and off for a few weeks now. It's a pretty interesting little device. Even wrote a few small scripts, which is unfortunately very much unlike me.

I didn't get far in the main game though. It was a little too slow for my tastes.
