It's pretty awesome to see that people still post here. I'm amazed that this place has survived all the weird changes over the last decade.

I'm not much of a gamer anymore, but for some reason I thought I'd pop in and see what's up. Who still posts here? I wonder how many of the oldbies still haunt the place. For some reason, I'm happy to see the forums are still here. They serve as a fun reminder of what the internet was like in 2002. =)

Well, I was active here two years ago and left because Mercy, an elitist staffer (who also has a controversial avatar), attempted to get me banned after a n00bish rent-a-mod to Pineconn by infracting me for SPAM on several posts afterwards when those posts weren't very spammy at all. I can only recall one of those posts, right before I left, that rightly carried a genuine infraction.
Now that he has been removed from staff, I feel comfortable returning here.

I understand that you're still bothered by the state of old AGN, and that's fine, but there's no reason to dig up buried grudges with specific members... especially considering that infractions from 2 years ago don't even apply to you anymore. All that'll accomplish is inviting unnecessary hostility at a time when we're trying to avoid that.
