Here's a just-for-the-hell-of-it-forum-filler-thread:

What are some of your favorite albums? No need to list them in any kind of order or anything like that.

Radiohead - OK Computer
Eisley - The Valley
Muse - Absolution
Rilo Kiley - Execution of all Things
Silversun Pickups - Swoon

I used to be such a metalhead in high school. I really mellowed out after all the high testosterone training and experiences I endured in my young adulthood. I like light alternative and indie stuff so much better now. Don't get me wrong, I still love popping in some 'tallica when I go running.

System of a Down - Toxicity onward
Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American and Futures
Eminem - Marshall Mathers LP onward

...God, I'm so tired that's all I can think of right now.

Apollo 18 — They Might Be Giants
Ray Guns Are Not Just The Future — The Bird and the Bee
Spiral — Hiromi
Quiet Is the New Loud — Kings of Convenience
Katamari Fortissimo Damacy — Namco

It's hard to choose, but I really think that Apollo 18 is my favorite TMBG album.

Holy shit, when I saw this in the new forums post block on the right of the index, it TOTALLY looked like spam. Lolol.

Lol, I dunno. It just looked like somebody was trying to sell something.

Radiohead - OK Computer
The Who - Live at Leeds
Beck - Odelay
Modest Mouse - The Lonesome Crowded West
Talking Heads - Remain In Light
Sonic Youth - Goo
Air - Moon Safari
My Bloody Valentine - Loveless
(Seriously I wrote off MBV forever because their name made them sound like some terrible emo band. This was a huge mistake. This album blew my mind the first time I heard it -- it's really obvious that it's had a huge influence on music that came after it but nothing out there really sounds like it at the same time. Swirling guitars!)

That's it. My tastes are probably pretty plebby, honestly. :(

I can't write off bands because of what other people think, or because what labels (not publishing labels) might be attributed to them. I have to listen to anything that I might in any way be interested in before I make a judgement. I'm not really into pop music, but I LOVED Lady Gaga's Fame Monster.
