So The Group Page (http://armageddongames.net/group.php) exists, and is highly unused. It's a fun little way to see who likes what hobbies or activities, only a bit more broad and general. Nothing horrifically specific. Groups like "World of Warcraft Players" and not "I like to wear purple in World of Warcraft on Tuesdays" and so on.

Thoughts?

As long as there's a she man woman haters group, I'm in.

Potential Groups:

*Insert Clever Name* List of people committed to posting AT LEAST one new thread a week.

*Rent-a-Mod* Let's kill the bad connotation. Group of people willing to use the report button for TOS violators. This would be a good place to recruit new mods from, when the time comes. (They would know not to post about it--just report, pm staff, etc.)

*Reviewer* Group of people willing to post media reviews, at least one a month?

Now that there is a bunch of interesting concepts. I never thought of using the groups system like that. Sounds like some sort of alternate usergroup, or profile note, though. A group is like a little room aside from the other forums that you get to chat in and host albums in with a bunch of other like-minded individuals. A group is something of "sharing-time" on a separate forum containing only your peers who joined willingly. For a group setting to be used like that, as a system of labeling or task-production management, is very interesting to me.

I haven't seen it in action yet. If it works, it works. All I can say. :]

Basically, the idea was adapted from KTC/OoTP and Breakers XXX group.
