So everyone has their own daily routine for surfing the internet, assuming people still use that term anymore. Here's mine:

Explosm (http://explosm.net/comics/new/) - Cyanide & Happiness (Daily!)
SMBC Comics (http://www.smbc-comics.com/) (Daily!)
The Book of Biff (http://www.thebookofbiff.com/) (Weekdays)
Not Always Right (http://notalwaysright.com/) - Sucky / Interesting Customer stories
Not Always Working (http://notalwaysworking.com/) - Sucky / Interesting employees and managers.
Not Always Romantic (http://notalwaysromantic.com/) - Self-explanatory.
Not Always Related (http://notalwaysrelated.com/) - Life stories.
Retail Comic (http://www.retailcomic.com/) (Daily!) Love this one.
XKCD (http://xkcd.com/) - (M / W / F) - Everyone should be reading this. Everyone.
Eatin' Cake (http://eatincake.com/) - A new webcomic started by our very own ZC-Ninja / Lemon (http://www.purezc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=55206).
MADDERer MEN (http://madderermen.bitedaily.com/)
Something Awful (http://www.somethingawful.com/d/photoshop-phriday/)'s Photoshop Phriday & Comedy area - Friday and Tuesday, respectively.
Jolly Jack's Collected Curios (http://collectedcurios.com/)
Manly Guys doing Manly Things (http://thepunchlineismachismo.com/) - Mondays
Amazing Superpowers (http://www.amazingsuperpowers.com/) - (? ?) - Very funny, insightful 3-panel comics.
A Softer World (http://www.asofterworld.com/) - Insightful, meaningful, sometimes sarcastic panels.
Brawl in the Family (http://brawlinthefamily.keenspot.com/) - A Nintendo-based comic.
Awkard Zombie (http://www.awkwardzombie.com/index.php?page=0) - Gaming comics.
My Life With Fel (http://mylifewithfel.smackjeeves.com/chapters/0/un-chaptered/) - Military experiment moves in with guy in apartment; love transpires.
Oglaf (http://www.oglaf.com/) - (Updated Sunday only) - A NSFW, yet often completely hilarious webcomic. If you don't mind nudity, give it a look.

I don't even read VGCats anymore. It used to be the #1 comic out there for me. Then "Updated Mondays" turned into "Updated Mondays that coincide with the eighth Tuesday every sixteenth month of hell's penumbra."

Order of the Stick (http://www.giantitp.com/): I check twice a week
Erfworld (http://www.erfworld.com/): Mostly got addicted to this one because of Order of the Stick, since they used to share a website
Penny Arcade (http://penny-arcade.com/): I'm actually kind of ashamed of this one, although I do like the Trenches.

And that's about it. Used to read VG Cats and Nuklear Power too, back when those actually had updates.

...Maybe I should start a webcomic...

At one time, I came damn close to coordinating an AGN webcomic but I couldn't find anybody with artistic talent and nobody could agree on direction.

Oh geez I think I remember snippets of that. So long ago. What sort of directions were people headed in, anyway?

Well, a webcomic is always good for forum visitation. If we did one in Black and White, it wouldn't waste a whole lot of resources.

What kind of update schedule are we talking about here? And how many people working on the same comic? We could break into teams of two (Artist and Writer) or we could even have several comics running from various creators (I've been meaning to start some comics for the web, so this would be a good excuse to pursue it).

I have quite a collection of web comics that I follow, arranged in my bookmarks bar by update day. I'll run down the list and share them all. Some are adult themed.

Something Positive (http://somethingpositive.net/) - "These are people you know, although you may not admit it. It's just a comic about trying to live you life and bringing a few friends with you so you don't kill anyone. At least, not anyone you might get in trouble for. "
El Goonish Shive (http://www.egscomics.com/) - Magic and gender transformations!
The Dreamland Chronicles (http://www.thedreamlandchronicles.com/) - CGI rendered comic book. I bought an issue at Comic Con one time. Updates mostly daily.
Wayward Sons (http://waywardsons.keenspot.com/) - Scifi comic with characters based on Greek and Egyptian Gods.
Chainsawsuit (http://chainsawsuit.com/) - Random "WTF" type stuff.
Darths & Droids (http://darthsanddroids.net/) - Screen cap comic featuring Star Wars as a tabletop RPG.
Ctrl+Alt+Del (http://www.cad-comic.com/) - Video game webcomic.
Penny Arcade (http://www.penny-arcade.com/) - One of the more popular ones.
Dr. McNinja (http://drmcninja.com/) - He's a doctor AND a ninja.
Dork Tower (http://www.dorktower.com/) - From the artist that draws Munchkin.
Collar 6 (http://collar6.com/) - Bondage Fetish webcomic. NSFW!
Vampire Cheerleaders (http://www.vampirecheerleaders.net) - Manga style.
Eerie Cuties (http://www.eeriecuties.com) - Sort of a high school for monsters.
Sandra and Woo (http://www.sandraandwoo.com/) - A girl and her talking raccoon.
The Dreadful (http://www.nuklearpower.com/dreadful/) - The only comic at Nuklearpower that is currently updating.
Headtrip (http://headtrip.keenspot.com/) - Not sure how to describe it, but I like it.
Paranormal Mystery Squad (www.paranormalmysterysquad.com/) - A monster hunting type of thing. Currently crossing over with Vampire Cheerleaders.
Spinnerette (http://www.spinnyverse.com/) - Like a female Spider-Man, except she has six arms.
Springiette (http://www.springiette.net/) - Cuteness overload.
Quiltbag (quiltbag.keenspot.com/) - Dealing with various sexual orientations. Spinnoff from Penny & Aggie.
Awkward Zombie (http://awkwardzombie.com/) - Video game themed comic.
Ménage Ã* 3 (http://www.ma3comic.com/) - A comic book geek and his sexy roommates. NSFW!
Magick Chicks (http://www.magickchicks.com/) - A spin-off of Eerie Cuties, focusing on witches.
the Pocalypse (http://www.thepocalypse.com/) - Post apocalypse flash comic.
Brawl in the Family (http://brawlinthefamily.keenspot.com/) - Nintendo Based, using mostly characters from Smash Bros.
The Trenches (http://trenchescomic.com/) - Game industry QA. The best part is the anonymous stories.
Fragile (http://www.fragilestory.com/) - Anime style comic about girls.
Gaia (http://www.sandraandwoo.com/gaia/) - Fantasy, sword fighting, magic, ect..
Punch an' Pie (http://punchanpie.keenspot.com/) - Sequel to Queen of Wands, following one of the girls and her predicaments.
Axe Cop (http://axecop.com/) - Written by a 5 year old.
Order of the Stick (http://www.giantitp.com/Comics.html) - D&D based fantasy comic.

Comics that seem to rarely update anymore:
Comics in Disguise (http://www.comicsindisguise.com/) - A Transformers comic.
The Lounge (http://thelounge.keenspot.com/) - About a comic shop / coffee shop and the girl that runs it.

Comics that are finished but I still recommend:
Penny & Aggie (http://www.pennyandaggie.com/) - High school teen drama.
Queen of Wands (http://queenofwands.net/) - The story of a girl, mostly based on the artist's life.
Starslip (http://starslip.com/) - Scifi, ships, battles, and ...curating?

I think VGCats already slacking updates got worse when he started to focus on his Pokémon comic. I don't care much for the pokemans, so I lost interest.

I vaguely remember reading about AGN members considering starting a web comic back in the day. I though of an idea to do episodic ZC quests, but if a web comic is too much work and difficult to organize, then frequent quest episodic quest releases is just way out there.

Also, I worked on Bar-Buddies until recently. Anybody remember that? The sprite comic that features AGNer cameos? I stopped after my hard drive died and didn't have everything backed up. If anybody wants the entire Bar-Buddies comic archieve, I can probably post it on my Photobucket account or my deviantART (do they have sprite based webcomics there? I've only seen drawn ones, but meh). Sadly, I might not continue on it. The drive that went poof on me is an external one that is only half aknowledged by my pc, but I can't access anything. I wanna take to a pc expert and see if there's anything salvagable, but don't know where to go.

I am disappointed that Hark, A Vagrant (http://www.harkavagrant.com/) is nowhere in this thread yet.
