I am not that great at Zquest, and I have never been able to create a new quest from scratch. I do not plan on posting any custom quests, but I would like to make some slight changes to the original Zelda quest as seen on the NES to make it more fun for me, like adding more puzzles to the dungeon, taking away some enemies so that it less action oriented, making the dungeons a little harder to get to, and things like that. It used to be with the older versions of Zelda Classic that I could edit the example quests that come with it, but now everything is password locked, and I can't edit anything. Where can I download an editable version of the original quest?

I sure don't see why they had to remove the example quests. There are people out there like you that are new to Zquest. Do you remember the old AlphaDawg's Tutorial quest back in 2001? Why don't we have a new tutorial quest made for the NewDefault tutorial layout. It would greatly help out newbies to get introduced to the quest editor and all those new features we have there.

I wonder why the originals are protected anyway, it would be nice to have all 4 basic quests free for editing, so one could check for secrets might gone undetected in the playthrough, or - as above mentioned - for slight editing to self-use and self-entertainment. :)

Anyway, thanks for the link to the quests.
