View Full Version : Dungeon 4 Door HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

ive gotten to dungeon 4 "The Snake" and im stuck because i cant get through one of the doors. the door is the one just south of the room where you cant cross the water because you dont have the ladder yet. i cant get through the door because it has a master lock on it and theres no where to get the master key with the rooms ive only been in. ive searched everywhere. PLEASE someone help!!!!

...at first I assumed you were playing 1st Quest, but then you said Master Key.

I don't know what you're playing. You didn't say what quest it was.

o i apologize, ya im playing the 1st quest, ive played alot of other zelda games so i call the boss key the master key, my bad. but ya im on the 4th dungeon and i cant get through the door, all the walkthroughs ive looked at said its a sliding door but its a boss key lock

It sound to me like you are playing 2.10test. It is impossible to get the boss key in level 4 due to an error in the combo table. Here's the screen where the boss key is supposed to be:

The left side if the cave is a stairs combo while the right side is a cave (walk down) combo. Try setting the right side of this cave to a stairs combo in ZQuest, as 2.10test is unpassworded.

...no, 1st quest does not have Boss Keys, period. All the keys are the same.

Now what is the name of the quest you are playing?

I just told this person that he is playing 210test.qst, which is the 2.10 version of the New1st Quest.
