I was never really sure where to post videos, this section seemed the best. I'm still around, injured my back at the end of '09 and pretty much just played video games and worked until that healed. Here's some random parkour/freerunning/screwing around footage I compiled into a video with footage from August '09 to now. Enjoy:

Cool stuff. How did you get started into parkour? Did you have anything similar in your background like dance or martial arts?

Nah, no background that would help much, just some weight lifting. Pretty much just went out and started trying the basics at a nearby park with a few friends.

That's a cool video. That isn't Parkour though. Parkour is simply getting past an obstacle as quickly and efficiently as possible. Tricks are not involved. What you're doing is "l'art du déplacement."
