Can't use bombs

for some reason i cant place bombs near walls. i was told it cant be done. but i can do it in the quests that come with 2.10. anyone know why?

I'm assuming on this one, but you can NOT use your sword or items close to the edge of the screen. You have to mark "can use weapons/items on edge of screen" under Quest -> Rules. You should be able to place bombs near the edge of the screen from then on. Caution: enemies cannot attack the edge of the screen and it gives players an unfair advantage.
