Two Kinects makes awesome 3D

This is kind of cool, but I don't see how it will effect games since the general market isn't going to want to buy TWO Kinects for certain games if MS did invest in working this idea. And, films have been using a "double camera" like this to film 3D for years now. Coraline had each 'frame' photographed twice to create the complimentary images. I'm not knocking the dude for his efforts, I'm just saying this doesn't seem to be the end-all revolution that some of those comments make it out to be.

Nah, not meant for games. It's just screwing around, doing cool stuff.
It's not that you need two Kinects for the 3D images, it's just that you get better quality with two than with just one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QrnwoO1-8A), since one can see what's hidden from the other.

I personally just find it to be very cool when people hack something to do stuff it wasn't meant to do. Like all those uses for the Wiimote, Or hacking one smartphone to work as a Bluetooth controller for another phone, or putting an NES emulator on a small computer built into your refrigerator. It may not always be practical or sane, but dammit it's cool.
