View Full Version : Any HAM Radio Operators?

Over the last year I've been increasingly enjoying HAM radio -- specifically building simple/high performance CW receivers. I originally got my license because I know HAM radio experience would make good job interview material. I've since grown to really enjoy the challenge of RF design and am considering it as a career.

I think its a long shot, but do any of you have your license? It would be fun to have some cross-country AGN contacts.

Afraid not. I've used a HAM radio before in Boy Scouts, but nothing more than that. It was pretty cool, I must admit...

Sorry. There is a HAM club at Baylor, but part of the reason I left EE is because I found things like HAM to be extraordinarily not interesting.

Thats too bad. I knew you had some engineering background and you were one of the few I had a (admittedly very small) hope would have his license.
