Grab one of the 2.5 betas, and take the ZCL from there.

I actually can't find any downloads for it right now.

And welcome to AGN. :)

Hey,

Sorry for the slow reply...I thought I'd get an email saying I had a thread response.

Anyway, still can't get it to work. Tried using ZCL with 2.10 files...same issue: screen resolution changes, then windows 7 says the program stopped working.

I am running windows 7 64 bit on an Acer. I tried to get around this whole mess with dosbox and the dos version of ZC, but no luck, either. Help!

I'm also trying to get it to work on windows 7, but I can't find any working download links for zelda classic launcher or for version 2.5, where can I get either of them?

1.92 and 2.10 do work on windows 7, but you have to make some adjustments in order to get them to work right. You'll have better luck in windowed mode, as even I have problems using full screen mode in windows 7 without issues, no matter what I have been through. Your best bet is to run them using ZC Launcher, which is packaged with the 2.5 builds. If you wish to use ZC Launcher with 2.10 (or earlier builds), just transfer the ZC Launcher file (zlaunch-w, I believe) to your folder for 2.10. No sweat to it. Open ZC using the launcher, and make sure resolution is set to 640x480. You can find the 2.5 builds at http://shardstorm.com/. The most recent of them should be at the top of the page. Regardless of your operating system, there are pretty recent builds for all of them.
