So, yesterday I was sitting on the couch watching Bladen play 007 on PS2. He's really never played any games like it before (usually just Mario/Sonic, racing, BMX, whatever), so he was having some difficulties finding a gun. I don't help him, I figure he'll learn best if he does it on his own.

So about, 20 minutes later I'm in the kitchen and I hear him yell, "Yeah, DIE!" accompanied by gunshots. Apparently my baby found a gun. And he says, "Mom! Watch!" and I walk in to him going, "BAM! HEADSHOT! HAHAHAHAHA" just as he shoots someone in the head.

I'm torn. Should I be worried or proud? lol.

He's currently developing what will become fond nostalgic memories years later. He will be reminded every time he hears a certain sound, or see's an old-school PS2 from those lame years when auto-tune was cool.

Be proud. =D

And fuck all those gray-beards who say violent games are bad. He'll probably develop better reflexes, and quick reasoning skills or some 1337 shit like that. See if he is good at math in school years later.

I was raised on horrible, pixelated violence. I'm fine. Just teach him good values and don't let him get away with bad behavior in real life.

Just make sure that he doesn't turn into one of those kiddie trolls online, and everything will be fine.
