Summer Movies

So what summer movies have you all seen? Have you been pleased with whats come out?

I saw The Last Airbender, which was okay. I wasn't expecting it to be spactacular, but I LOVED the art direction.

I haven't really seen anything else, which is unusual, as I used to be a pretty big movie buff. I still want to see Inception.

I want to see this although I am not sure why. It has a great cast for an action film if they can avoid tripping over each other. Hopefully it is not another Copland.

Just saw Scott Pilgrim vs The World last night. If I had to use one word to describe it, the word would be, "amazing". Everyone on this forum must go see it. I doubt any other movie that comes out this year will top this movie for me :D

I haven't had time to go to the movies all summer. I WANTED to go see Shrek 4 for the final chapter. just have to wait for it to come on that thing called DVD.

Today for my belated birthday present, my mom is taking me to see the Captain America movie. I'll post my thoughts on it when I get back this afternoon/evening.

Also. Go see Transformers 3. I'm hoping to see Horrible Bosses this week.

I might do that. Btw, Cptain America was freaking awesomeness. It also had a quite a few funny moments.

Really, I thought it looked a bit...naff. Some comics translate pretty well to the big screen but i'm sceptical about CA. Mind you Marvel studios has been doing well with their latest stream of movies, now all we need to do is get some decent x-men ones!

And then link all the marvel films into the Onslaught saga.

I thought Transformers was bad. Captain America is probably in my top ten favorite movies of all time though. Brilliance.

Anybody see Cowboys and Aliens yet? I'm on the fence.

I don't really have any inclination to see Cowboys vs Aliens except for the fact that Olivia Wilde is in it. She's freaking hot.
